Ok the male narrator almost made me not finish the book, but I powered through and glad I did . I love that the main character is tough . This is the first fantasy book I’ve listened to and it was a pleasant surprise. I personally did fast forward through the umm adult ghost encounters , but that’s because the male narrator made those scenes just uncomfortable to listen to
