This is a slow-burn romance. I was instantly intrigued and ended up reading the full series. Aaron is the child of serial killers, and Dr. Kenneth Lyons is someone who helped with the case that finally led to their arrest. Coincidence or not, Aaron runs into Kenneth years later and even takes classes and lectures in college with Dr. Lyons as his professor. They both feel the connection, and eventually Kenneth figures out who Aaron really is. Then a new body shows up with similar details and a calling card matching the murders of Aaron’s parents, making Aaron the number one suspect.
