Buck Me is a fast paced, steamy, small town romance with a rodeo ranch, work place relationship.
Tate Garrison is a man of layers and I just loved him. Tough cowboy exterior with a need to care for those he loves, a soft heart and a bit afraid of relationships.
In steps Joy Anderson. A city girl with a love for horses who came to Cole County after a failed relationship.
The heat between these two was immediate and electric but can they overcome obstacles and a workplace dynamic to make their relationship work. I loved how he fell for her so hard and fast and yet was such a gentleman. It took Joy a while to give into her feelings because she was worried about what others would think. I felt a real connection to these characters and found myself laughing with them and feeling the deep emotions with them as well.
The narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life. After just recently discovering James Cassidy I can honestly say I’m hooked and will be looking for more. This was my first book with Charlie L Wood as the female narrator and I loved her smooth delivery of the dialogue. With this being dual narration I was truly impressed with how they handled the other voices.
