I loved it so much I listened twice, back to back. It was my first Malfi book and I’ve since bought almost his whole catalog. The Narrows is small town horror of the best kind with well developed characters you get quickly invested in, an immersive, well described setting, and engaging prose. Salem’s Lot is my favorite King and this book scratched that itch – a spooky, delicious slowburn with a satisfying ending.
