This book gets 5 stars from me not only because I liked it, but because it is about incredibly smart people using their power for good. Not money, power, recognition; just for the general good. That said, the accounts are interesting, however there is much detail in the back story of the crimes. I think I would have liked perhaps a more brief setup of each case and more cases themselves. This narrator, I have a love/hate opinion of him. I love his tone, pacing, just the right intensity (not too much); but he is also very folksy. Particularly for the dialogue, he makes everyone sound a bit wide-eyed and half-witted. I can’t help but like him, having enjoyed a couple of the Jack Olsen books he’s done. I think I’m getting very picky about narrators! Overall, a bit slow but very interesting book.
