I’ve seen this book constantly popping up and thought it’d be a good book for me and my boyfriend to listen to. We both loved it! It’s very imaginative, unique, and really funny! The earth has been taken over by an alien syndicate and all the buildings have collapsed into the earth killing everyone that was in them. The survivors that weren’t in buildings at the time have the choice to try and survive on the barren earths surface or go underground and fight for their lives in a live action dungeon crawler game! The game is televised to the universe like a reality show 😂 Each crawler has to fight through each floor until the stairs appear, and then they descend down to the next floor which is harder than the last. Carl and his ex-girlfriends cat Princess Donut are a party of 2, and they make a hilarious pair 😂
This book is like listening to a video game and the narrator was phenomenal! His voices for each character were all fantastic and really brought the whole thing to life! We finished listening to this book and went straight to the second 😂 It’s just so good! 😂
