I did not anticipate liking this so much! I’m not usually into SciFi and am unfamiliar with LitRPG (or RPG). But I loved the characters, the story, the grit, and connection between Carl and Donut. I don’t think I could have finished reading this… but listening to Jeff Hays’s brilliant narration captured my attention and I couldn’t stop listening. Each character is so distinct. I understand the game play. Can’t wait to keep listening!
