I absolutely LOVE Joel and Dan and what the story was trying to do. I just feel like the story fell flat and relied heavily upon the reader’s basic knowledge on demons, angels, and supernatural creatures. The sons of Lucifer just had powers… that’s it. I’m happy the fight scenes weren’t drawn out bc they were lacking. Like shooting fire balls… yeah after they got attacked at the spa I knew anymore wouldn’t be good. And the constant sex scenes while they had deadline really had me zoned out because um plot??? Then wrapping up one of the bigger plot points in the last 30 minutes really did me in. Seriously it could’ve been a lot better with more world building, pacing, and better understanding/ description of power abilities.
