Hmm this is so different then what I am used to with a JA Huss book. It’s not that I didn’t like it more like I want to know more about these two characters.
I feel like we just scratched the top layer of them. But that I have been listening for so long I should know more about them. Does that make sense?
We know something bad happened to her in her childhood, we know he is rich and powerful-ish and that he is America’s heart throb.
We also know that she has been lusting after him for a long time, and now that she has the chance at a shot with him her past is hindering her.
He has never wanted anyone like he wants her. So this is new and scary for them both.
I enjoyed the heck out of the narration; all but when he does the female parts… I don’t like that but all his other voices are perfect.
She does a great male voice I really enjoyed it. And all her other voices are pretty fun to listen to.
