This is more for the whole series I don’t want to re write every time. Sound booth theater is amazing. I’ve been listening to everything preformed by Jeff hays lately after being blown away by the dungeon crawler series. It’s why I read this series.
The performances by all cast are fantastic but they do a lot of the heavy lifting. The author is good at character scenes many parts made me laugh. There were amazing dialogue sequences that I listened to multiple times. My negatives are the larger scenes. Battles and conflicts. It was hard to follow the fight scenes and any of the lager conflicts they didn’t really pull me in. Once the scope of the story gets expanded I found the same issues. There was jarring moments as well that took me out of it with some of the language references. This is a different world different universe set up in a different time period. Crazy that they also had a guy and Occam and he also used a concept that got coined after him. The concept was fun and the characters were fun I wish it had been written just a little better.
