Whew. Okay, this is a large age gap (20+ years), and you’ll have to turn off that part of your brain doing the math. But if you just stay and enjoy the ride… 🫠 it’s worth it!

Carrie is aging out of the foster system. She doesn’t have any kind of safety net. She’s spent her life pushing away others because she doesn’t want to get hurt.

Michael is her case worker. He has spent months looking after Carrie and falling in love with her. His best friend Jack is pragmatic and doesn’t understand the hold this girl has on his best friend… until he meets her.

Jade West does these spicy, taboo, novellas to perfection. The narrators had these posh, British accents that just added an additional layer of naughtiness to the whole book.
