Everything wrong with LitRPGs as a genre does not seem to be able to attach itself to Dungeon Crawler Carl as the story and its characters continue to stand tall and the narration by Jeff Hays continues to impress! Without spoiling too much, Carl, Donut, and The Princess Posse get pushed to their absolute limits with only their unbridled will and each other to keep them going. The Comedy is consistently funny, the action is wild and absurd, the emotions are high and raw and the stakes never get smaller! Can’t wait for the ” A Parade of Horribles”!
