Balance is probably one of the best books I have read in a while. I hate you M.R. Forbes because of the ending. Never in my life did I see that one coming. Actually got a little pissed. And that is the way to keep readers coming back for more. I will certainly do that.
So, there is this guy that dies and goes to Purgatory. To redeem himself, he has to keep the balance between Good and Evil. So whoever has the upper hand on things, he fights for the opposite side. Love the concept. So he meets some demons, meets some angels, meets some blessed and others along his journey. Problem is, he did not get a manual on what each could do and they all want to kill him. So much for the guy that is trying to keep everything in Balance.
Read it, get mad at it, cry with it, laugh at it and cuss the author out at the end. 5 stars.
