Overall really liked the story, but not the main character. She seemed very childish, selfish, and her personality wasn’t realistic to me. She annoyed me so much that I didn’t relate to how she thought or acted. Maybe because I’m in my 40s and she’s in her 20s, but really I don’t think it was that, more different people altogether, where her actions and decisions annoyed me and made the book just a listen, not where I could even imagine myself, or anyone really she seemed that unrealistic, as the main character. But the story was good and I would say it made up for me not personally liking the main character. I would say that just means the main character and I aren’t going to stay friends in my head, but the story flowed and kept me listening even when her thoughts/words/actions frustrated the crap out of me. Stick with it if you’re like me, and not a fan of the main character, I think you’ll be glad you did. Would definitely give the author another listen.
