This book was something new for me. I typically stick with romance but thepsychological thriller aspect was new. This book was not what I expected. 3.5 rounding up to 4.
Aaron has definitely been through so much in his life. He is in hiding but his old life is still chasing him after all these years. We have this hookup with a guy who later turns out to be his professor.
Kenny seems to be pining for his ex, pretending at this relationship with a woman, and pushing away the one guy who wants him.
I honestly expected more to happen between these two. I get that Kenny is older and a professor but the way he wants Aaron but keeps pushing him away was annoying.
I did see this is a series and while I am kind of intrigued by what might come next I’m not sure its enough interest to read the rest of the series. I suppose we will have to see.
