I have to admit I only read this book out of curiosity because it was recommended to me by Audible and I couldn’t figure out why. Now I know. Both the writing and narration are very enjoyable; the sardonic wit of the lead character had me giggling to myself while I was listening to this book and the chosen narrator had the perfect voice to bring the sarcasm to life. There are other narrators who may do a better job changing their voice for each character but the manner in which Jeffrey Kafer read this novel rendered that requirement moot. If you’re not sure about whether or not to bother with ‘Project 31’ I’d suggest you give it a listen.
