This epistolary story is a triumph. Ms. Evans wrote a moving story about an elderly, curmudgeon, woman in her 70s. I started listening to the story and thought this main character is a real number, what an uptight, old lady. Obviously her story arc and the raising action of the text grew, and Sybil grew on me too. I especially liked how Sybil became an advocate for Harry. This is a book that I can recommend to anyone.
I read and listen to a lot of books and I can honestly say, as soon as I finished it, I started it all over again. The first time I’ve ever done this. Even the second listen brought me to laughter and tears. Don’t hesitate, buy this book.
