“A True Verdict” (2025) by Robert Rotstein is a unique legal novel about a wheelchair-bound, Black male plaintiff who sues his powerful former employer for firing him. The story is told from multiple points-of-view by multiple voice actors (thirteen in all!) with their own backstories, so it takes a while to keep all the characters straight. Eventually, the plot does come together and turns into an absorbing tale with several twists and turns. Solidly recommended.
