I must have passed this book over hundreds of times. It sounded like just another crappy litrpg, and Lord knows we don’t need more of them. Worse, judging by some of the comments about it being overly sexual and the obvious double entendre in the title, I thought it was the lowest form of written garbage you can find here on Audible, the harem litrpg genre.
The books own summary doesn’t help matters. It is intentionally misleading so that you will be surprised by the actual MC of the book. I won’t spoiler it even though other comments already have, but you can listen to the sample to find out.
At any rate, I finally gave in for lack of anything else to listen to, and immediately liked the book. The writer is actually quite sharp, despite the writing being intentionally crass. Yes, there we some sexually perverse scenes, but they were way less disturbing to me than the sex scenes in the crappy harem books in this genre since these were at least meant to be mocked or to cause disgust and not to try to get thirteen year old virgins all sweaty.
All this is a long winded way of saying that this was a great book and I’m really glad I finally decided to give this series a try.
Oh yes, two thumbs up to the narrator too!
