Overall, I ended the series feeling depressed and it was completely unnecessary- the author really just failed her characters and the reader at how she ended book 3.
I had really enjoyed all 3 books until the author decided to go completely uninspired and write a depressing and trite ending. I actually won’t be reading this author again because she can’t be trusted not to use unnecessary stereotypical and hackneyed writing in a sorry attempt to play on the reader’s emotions.
The narrator was wonderful – he did a fantastic job
