The Correspondent was a genuinely engaging read—smart, emotional, and easy to get pulled into. I loved the voice of the narrator and the way the story unfolded through letters and communication, which made it feel personal and intimate. The themes of connection, regret, and what goes unsaid really landed for me.

That said, there were a couple stretches where the pacing slowed and a few moments that felt a bit repetitive, which kept it from being a full five stars. Still, this is a strong, heartfelt book that left me thinking after I finished. Definitely worth reading, especially if you enjoy character-driven stories.
