The elevator scene stood out to me so strongly and in such detail that I know I have read it before. that exact thing before. very odd since he says this is a 2024 copyright on the book as well as the audiobook. I remembered nothing about the rest of the novel. overall it wasn’t bad, but the characters didn’t really grab me much. I can certainly see some potential. if the next book turns out to go on sale, I’d be willing to give it a try.
