Even though the story was okay, the framing of it in her correspondence was tedious. Listening to the reading of the addresses and the subject lines was distracting and bothersome. Maybe in print it would not have been so annoying because you could just skip over them. The story seemed too contrived and a bit sappy. Many of the issues and themes of her life would have been eliminated or at least alleviated if she would have used a phone or had a real conversation and dialogue with the others in her life.
