I have never read LitRPG before but I did play some RPG when I was younger so I get all of the levels and everything. I had always thought that would probably detract from a book but I have to say I loved it. Everything about this book was great, and it was funny as hell. It ended up totally messing up my week as I stormed through all seven books in about 8-9 days. I was so bummed when I finished Book 7 because now I have to wait for the next one. Every single book was awesome. I also would look at the book art as I read to get clues for the story. All of the art was top notch too.
