The title kept coming up as a suggestion but the premise didn’t interest me and I didn’t even know what LitRPG was. But I was curious about the high rating and the number of reviews. I realize that it may not be the best piece of literature I’ve read, but it may be my favorite. And for sure the most fun. I would squeeze in time to listen whatever I could. I’ve never been an LOL kind of guy, but there was a lot of laughing out loud. For me, it’s the characters and their relationships and the dialog that I love. The story is and the adventure is great, but you get invested in the characters. And to be honest, I’m sick of the Grimdark books where the best characters get killed off. There are still dark elements to the story, but it’s been refreshing to just root for the good guys.
