I wish the author worked more with the person reading because he’s just awful. There’s plenty of Japanese words that he just completely butchers and it makes listening to this book and absolute pain. It sounds like the most Americanized caricature version of Japanese words and it’s honestly just irritating to listen to. I know this book is probably really good but it’s so tedious to listen to this guy that I don’t even know if I can finish it.
