The narrative and the narration makes this into or makes it sound like some Young Adult (YA) novel. I am into the actual plot kind of but it is so hard to keep up and follow along. The story being mellow with no swearing and no actual sex even though there is MUCH teenage angst, is okay. The narration stinks and so does this juvenile approach to the plot. Even though I do not hate YA novels, this was not sold as one but it totally is. I don’t even think they all have hair in those personal spots based on the story. I just wish that I knew before they sold it to me.
