The role that Susan played in the death of her own children.

I don’t have a favorable opinion of Mormons in general. Susan seemed like an intelligent person but her religious delusions played a role in her death and the death of her children.
Had she excepted the fact that Josh was not only an unstable and selfish individual when he refused to drive her to the hospital than she’d probably be living a good and godly life with Charlie and her 2nd husband and additional children. Instead she hung on to a toxic marriage to a man that didn’t care about her or the children and was most likely a pedophile.
I’m sure like most ppl with religious delusions the idea of being a divorced single mother was unexceptionable.
Josh was a disgusting, disgrace of a human being. There is no hell deep enough for ppl like him. That doesn’t change the fact the Susan allowed it to happen. This I’m sure won’t be a popular review of this book, which was extremely well written and researched but it’s the truth of what happened.
