The story absolutely stood still. It went nowhere. The book before ended perfectly to lead into a new adventure and I actually purchased this book 16 hours. Two hours of it maybe three if I’m being generous furthered the story, a literal waste of time you could skip the whole book read the highlights of his new powers and you will have missed very little. And to mention an elder wolf and to pick some lower level junk. Yeah sorry I was looking forward to the elder wolf. I would not have had he not mentioned it but yeah, he most certainly mentioned it.. Perhaps I can buy three or four more books and then at the end of the next dungeon, we can get the elder wolf upgrade or whatever. Money making scheme hovering in place dog treading in water. I took a six months hiatus because of how slow the story had gotten. No progression came back and got into it just enough until Draven reach. 30+ hours on the boring dungeon with no shots no building no merchants. No progression Tom Elliot has calmed to most do. …… complacency.
