Why do authors have to throw in ideologies that are not shared by much of society? This has been a good storyline that the ideology did not add to the story. It was just thrown in as added content. But it’s the type of stuff that turns me away from the story. A distraction that was unnecessary. It would have been nicer if it was added in the first book, but instead I got into the book and it was enjoyable. So starting the second book, I was caught off guard. I know some people enjoy this kind of thing, but like broccoli, some of us just don’t see the attraction.
