Don’t think you will find out if the killer has actually been found or convicted. I didn’t see in the advertising that the story goes right up to the point of trial. I was really disappointed in that bit of deception.

Otherwise great book, great story, great at humanizing the dehumanization of nosy busy bodies and media. Just like gawkers drive by an accident very slow because they want to see, create more a traffic hazard and often leads to more accidents, the electronic gawkers more often than not hamper law enforcement. Cut throat media and social media posters create so much strife and trauma for survivors.

This is a great illustration that how someone else’s loss is the gain of tragedy sharks. They are the predators of sorrow and seek nothing but financial profit, entertainment, or have misguided sense of purpose. Who knows how this will affect the trial.
