Let me start by saying that I do not play video games nor role player games. I have have kids who do, and that was more than enough to fully understand the game mechanics, prize boxes, etc. Beyond all that, this series is a story about people put in an untenable situation, forced to do things they don’t want to do just to survive, all for the profit and entertainment of invading alien contortions.
Our heroes, choose not to let them break them, and make them lose their humanity. The story is a wild adventure with many twists and turns, yet, uplifting, kind of like a roller coaster.
