I’m clearly in the minority, but I was disappointed in this book. I listened to the audiobook, which was over 9 hours long, and I was over 6 hours into it before anything interesting happened regarding any of the characters I cared about. Bottom line, I was BORED with this book. I found myself fast-forwarding through chapters out of pure frustration. I’ve read or listened to all the other books with rapt attention because there was enough danger/suspense/intrigue to keep it interesting, and this is a fascinating plot line. However, this book just seemed to mostly focus on interpersonal relationships. It should have been named “A Day in the Life of the Reset Roadhouse.” The story just barely moved forward and only at the very end. The narration was good, but there was less of a difference in the voices this time. I’m sorry for the negativity, but I hope the next book is better.
