I was really interested in this series as it reminded me of “one second after”. Similar traits, but instead this dad and son, trek across country to get to the rest of their family.
Loved the story and it kept me going all to the end. It has got me thinking of my own survival and looking into information.
I do feel that it was down played a bit as the world would probably be a lot more harsher and it also seems like there were less survivors then what would really be. A day/two after initial strike and they only come across dale to help them to town, two guys in a car and Ally…where is everyone else?!?! Population estimates in 2025 of Durango 19,987… I can understand not mentioning a lot to keep the story going, but to me it felt like majority of people were just gone..poof.
