This is a good one!

My first impression of the narration was that it was a little dry and monotone, it certainly isn’t flashy like Jeff Hays. By the end I felt like the narrator had selected the perfect tone for the various characters. Very good job.

The story is intriguing, I cared about the main characters, advancement didn’t seem ridiculously convenient, and folks weren’t perfect. I enjoyed it very much, already purchased book two.
