This book broke my heart and put it back together so many times that I couldn’t begin to count them. There are many characters but you will never lose awareness of them. They are distinct. Our protagonist is not always likable but she is honest. I want certain that I would like the way the story was organized by her communications with letters and emails but it was so well done that I now can’t imagine any better way of doing it. I never rate a book with five stars but would give it many more if possible. Please listen. You will be well rewarded.
