“Callie the Calico Kitty” is a super cute audiobook. Callie lives in Texas on a country ranch named ‘The Little Orchard’ with another tiger striped kitty named Double and a guard dog named Peanut who has a loud bark. She sees several other animals that at first seem scary because they’re large and soon learns that they’re horses, a goat, a donkey, and an owl.
This is a perfect story and grandma approved! My grandchildren would love listening to Callie explore and learn new things, such as the blackberry bush, birds, locusts, katydids, and a skunk. I loved listening to this story myself. It’s really cute, especially when Callie and her brother and sister saw a dusting of snow for the first time.
This is an excellent story for children written by LaVonna Moore. I would definitely recommend this audiobook. It’s a good length for anytime listening. Terrific!
Kitty Hendrix does an exceptional job reading this book. She was consistent throughout the story with great voices. You can’t go wrong with this one and I look forward to more.
