Part over the top shenanigans, part heart wrenching drama, all fun DCC is a blast. The stakes keep getting higher and Carl, Doughnut, and the rest of the Princess Posse keep getting in deeper. Dinniman amazingly spins all the plates and from start to finish Jeff Hayes is stellar. The early chapters have Hays sounding a bit less of “Carl” accent that in previous books, but I either adapted to the newer voice or Hayes warmed into the sound of Carls voice more as the book progresses. Overall great work by everyone. I appreciate some of the more immersive sound tricks like overlapping dialogue and some more ambient sounds as well has voicing more out there accents and voice expressive sounds. Peak audiobook.
