I’ve been a fan of this series from the start. Timeless is really book 14 in the series and by this point in most series, you’d feel a lot of slump and filler and cycle repeats. However! Travis Bagwell did something pretty incredible and totally refreshed and reenergized and “awakened” my interest in the series. He did an awesome job here. Many twists, new starts, new storylines added. It’s a whole new chapter to the world he’s created. I really can’t wait to see what comes next.
My only gripes are Riley taking a back seat to everything. It’s like Bagwell got tired of her and just benched her the whole book. He also did it to Frank, but honestly I don’t care about Frank, haha. I do like Riley though. Hopefully she comes back.
My other note is always on the narrator. I just don’t think Stifel was the right choice for this series (aside from Finn’s books.). I think he’s holding the series back from gaining the popularity it should have. He’s not a bad narrator, just miscast for this series.
