This book/series is no great work of literature. Just a lot of a dad patting himself and his kid on the back for doing basic things. No surprises, nothing terribly exciting. Predictable and uninteresting. A lot of talking about guns in a very basic way. None of the characters have any depth. The narrator is just a narrator, nothing inspiring. I guess my expectations are just high after all the great voice actors in the industry these days. I guess I should cut the narrator some slack for not being able to make a boring book more exciting.
