The story was compelling for the first 5 books. The last three I forced myself to listen to because I had used my credit on it. I mean, come on….I understand sone bad words if adults or ornery teens are in a heated argument. But the writer had everyone talking to themselves with F- words, SH- words, GDAH- words flying constantly! Too much. Not necessary in the verbal interaction AT ALL! One more thing; By book 5, I got tired of the same reminiscing in their thoughts over and over: “If I get through this where will I go, what will life look like, will I/we be safe…..” I’m not sure I can ever read another book by this author and trust I will be wasting my money and time.
