Too many new Characters and It’s hard to keep up

There is so much context switching in the series that it isn’t clear to keep up with the main storyline. Like the other reviews mentioned… So many new characters are introduced to this book that it’s hard to remember all of them. I think I remember three. The author could have introduced the character gradually in previous books, making the transition a lot smoother.

There is so much cloak and dagger that it’s hard to understand what’s going on. He could have broken this “floor” into multiple books instead of cramming everything into one.

The complexity keeps increasing and increasing to the point the reader will hardly know what’s going on, and he just gives up trying to figure things out.
