The concept is good, the narrator is good. BUT I can’t stand how sanctimonious the author makes this family. I laughed out loud when it’s stated how starving changes people – the event happened at 10 pm and it’s now dawn, so approximately eight hours – no one is starving,
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.
