too bad she stopped writing this series!!
I would have loved to know what leo does next.
one of cs’ best work, if not the best!
even better than the first book in the series, and this is something to brag about.
interesting and original story line, awesome and mellow writing, well build characters that continue to change and evolve in the best ways, throughout the story.
I have to admit I never guessed what turn out to be the real explanation – and that is rare.
I also thought there was one logical mistake – turns out it was better explained later in the plot.
there is only one character that is not that well built, nor does it behave all that logical, but it’s so marginal a character, I didn’t realized it’s fishy, until the second listen.
as for jl’s narration: back to his best! all characters were given fitting, distinguishable voices, and he doesn’t mess up even once, in all the six and a half hours of it.
definitely one for the favorites list!
