Good book with a good story. Although it’s long I realized it had to be to give all the details to the story. Well written to paint a picture in your head you don’t want to see. The narrator isn’t exciting in the least but I think he was the perfect choice for this book. It’s a book of gloom and insane people. Although it’s a fascinating story it’s not one that ever leaves you with a smile on your face or makes feel all warn and fuzzy. When it ends you question how anyone like Fred Coe could have any real friends. But with a mom like his one can see how he succeeded at being a complete failure. His bragging about his awesome sex life while it appears he was impotent is a great example of poetic justice. He failed at everything and has hopefully received more than his fair share of prison justice as he deserves a lot of it.
