I got this book based on positive reader reviews. I was bitterly disappointed to find that this book is a trashy romance full of repetitive ‘I can’t live without him’, ‘my heart leapt at the sight of him/sound of his voice’, ‘I shuddered at the touch of his hand’ type of diatribe. The dystopian setting (the reason I chose the book) was poorly constructed and underdeveloped and the characters were one dimensional. The conclusion is rushed and unsatisfying. Not my idea of a good dystopian story. The narrator wasn’t too bad though.
