Of course I expected the performances of Jeff Hays and the Soundbooth production staff to be on-point, as always. But I was reluctant to spend one of my preciouses Audible credits on a one-off GameLit book by a couple guys I’ve never heard of. Then I saw Matt Dinniman’s review, so I reluctantly, hesitatingly dropped the credit. It helped that 16+ hours is a good run for a credit, sure. So maybe it’ll be worth the sauce…

Tell you what, Matt didn’t mislead, and Jeff Hays and crew delivered the goods! I’ve been laughing my manly muscled ass off while simultaneously gripping the edge of my seat for the action. And who doesn’t need a ‘Screenie’ in their head to spice-up the daily grind with hilarious references and vaguely malfeasant turn-by-turn direction into chaos and character building?

By the time I got down to three hours remaining, I was already frantically looking online for a release date for the next book. Months? I have to wait MONTHS?? Get cracking!
