This was so nice that I was sad when it ended. But its timing to end was perfect. Being a Marylander, I especially loved knowing many familiar names & places, but anyone could enjoy this book. These correspondences allowed me to intimately come into several characters lives, for a moment, a section of their lives, or an entire life, as with the writer. I was moved, enlightened, saddened & softened. Each character, in their own voice (loved that) came alice as their voice kicked off a new chapter, I knew exactly who they were & my soul took on their presence as their part of the story was told.
I highly recommend enjoying this book.
