Amazing, distinct characters with rounded personalities and hilarious interactions. I felt the affection, exasperation and love they all shared and why. I’m gonna miss them!!
Great story, with a world I’d want to live in, mythology that’s an interesting overlay, and twists both shocking and tragic. The spice is hot and not excessive, well-blended into the story, and suits the characters. My only minor issue was a potentially mild continuity error in scenes where shifters broke down locked doors (?).
Joel Leslie is an amazing narrator, with truly distinct voices and accents that distinguished and suited each character. You knew who was speaking even without attribution.
I’d be thrilled to hear that we could get to visit this world again.
