I loved books 1-5 yet as time went on during them I started to become frustrated with Ben’s domineering and self aggrandizing which I now (1 hour into book 6) see becomes even worse. I understand some of what he is going through, yet MAN, the way he pushes his way onto everyone and everything is too much for me. I had to come to the reviews and see if it was just me or if this internal perseverating monolog was actually overpowering the core story. I am sad to see that it is. If the monolog was cut down to 1/3 and the story arch was lifted by 1/16 it would make for an incredible story!
